Procurement Manager (Indirect)

The Role
The procurement team are fundamental to our company, by combining the rich experience of our people with the innovative use of our technology, Nomia brings a unique and disruptive procurement solution to our customers to better-manage their tail spend.
Procurement is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for customer tail spend projects. We are trusted by our customers to maximise the value of their investment and provide an excellent customer experience.
The team is focused on developing strong global category strategy, regional supplier relationships, and speed of project execution through a global purchasing team. Our talented and high-performing global team works with customers across Europe, Middle East, North America, and Asia.
About You
Nomia is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person to join our team. This person will help contribute to the success of Nomia’s regional procurement hub, and will therefore be a driven, self-starter who is looking to be part of an exciting journey within a procure-tech company.
We are looking for our regional procurement manager to be spending some of their time face-to-face with our customers and suppliers, this person should therefore be a commutable distance to a Nomia office, and be able to travel to our customers or suppliers if required, with limited travel anticipated, primarily within region.
Key Responsibilities
Indirect Sourcing & Procurement
Support development and execution of regional procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with Nomia’s business objectives, customer requirements, and regional market dynamics.
Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for indirect categories, including IT hardware, software, licenses, and professional services.
Run RFx processes (RFP/RFQ) using Nomia platform, ensuring structured and comparable supplier responses.
Evaluate suppliers based on commercial competitiveness, capability, compliance, and service quality.
Negotiate pricing, service level agreements, and contractual terms with suppliers.
Ensure sourcing outcomes meet both Nomia and customer operational requirements.
Supplier Development & Relationship Management
Develop and manage relationships with regional service providers and technology vendors.
Expand the supplier ecosystem to support indirect procurement needs across the region.
Maintain and manage the regional preferred supplier list for indirect categories.
Monitor supplier performance including service delivery, responsiveness, contract compliance, and pricing competitiveness.
Category & Market Expertise
Support development and implementation of category strategies for indirect spend.
Apply category management principles to regional spend not covered by global category team.
Conduct regional spend and supply market analysis to identify cost optimisation opportunities.
Provide insights to Category Management and Global Buying teams regarding regional supplier markets and trends.
Supplier Onboarding & Compliance
Manage supplier onboarding ensuring completion of compliance checks , sanctions screening, and contractual documentation.
Support supplier adoption of the Nomia platform, and that they follow structured RFx processes.
Customer & Internal Collaboration
Support sourcing activities for new customer contracts, ensuring supplier capability, pricing structures, and service capability are aligned with customer needs.
Work collaboratively with other functions, including Business Development, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Represent Nomia in supplier and customer meetings when required.
Risk & Contract Management
Monitor supplier and contract risks, including service continuity and compliance and proactively identify mitigation strategies.
Manage contract lifecycle activities including renewals and renegotiations.
Resolve service delivery issues, availability constraints, quality issues, pricing discrepancies and escalate where required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes and procurement playbooks.
Qualifications/Skills
5+ years of experience working in a sourcing & Procurement role.
Proven ability to support category strategies & SRM initiatives.
A strong understanding of sourcing and procurement, S2P workflows and processes, and technologies.
A strong level of experience of data analysis, sourcing, commercial and contract negotiation, and SRM.
Experience working with enterprise SaaS is advantageous.
Effective, empathetic verbal and written communication with all levels of seniority.

This is a hybrid role, with three office days per week required, potentially more during training or as requested by your supervisor.
