The Role
We're looking for an IT Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore. You will work with the rest of the IT Team, currently based in London, to ensure the smooth running of our global offices.
Responsibilities
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows 11, printers, & HPe Aruba wireless connectivity
- Basic understanding of hardware and software firewall concepts
- Day to day solving of desktop and system problems (onsite and remote). Using our helpdesk ticketing system Service Now, actively take ownership of new tickets, regularly maintain your ticket queue, and ensure all requests are logged.
- Highlight areas of repeating problems and/or waste activities to the Nomia IT Manager
- Act as technical escalation point for Nomia staff
- Creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation.
- Providing 1st line application support, as well as user setups, access request changes for all Nomia core line of business applications,
- Install, maintain, and support new software applications, hardware, and systems.
- Ensure our internal asset management system is maintained and updated.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, using the Nomia proactive monitoring tool
- Support others within the IT Team with larger change related activities.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience with Entra ID, DHCP, DNS & Intune
- Experience working with iPhone iOS / Mac OS systems
- Knowledge of various Microsoft Office 365 products and Azure.
- Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to find a solution, to one off or reoccurring issues
- Experience in documenting processes and procedures
